For an interview or on-the-record comment, email info@aspppro.com and put “Media Inquiry Urgent” in the subject line. I answer media requests in roughly two hours. If I am traveling or teaching, that window can stretch. Requests are answered in the order they arrive.

I am a Former U.S. Marine and retired police detective corporal. I have been on scene at an active shooter incident, and I am the creator of the P.R.O. Model™ (Prevention. Response. Options.), an “A” national standard selected twice by the U.S. Department of Justice and in use at some installations and commands across the Department of Defense. I have given more than 1,200 television interviews over two decades.

What I can speak to:

• Law enforcement response times and what they mean for people inside a building
• Workplace violence and pre-incident indicators
